Removing Your Location from Facebook


Time and time again, Facebook has introduced new "features" without notifying its users.  And they go by an automatic opt-in policy, meaning that you have to opt-out rather than opt-in to the new "feature". The problem is that they don't let you know they are doing this, so there isn'y even an up front opt-out, you usually have to go digging through the settings once you find out something is happening.

Today, as I posted a new status, I realized that it posted the city I was in while posting....not cool Zuckerberg!  So, if you want to turn this off, here is how:

How to Manage All Those Passwords


With the growth of the Internet and all the services on the web that we use, we all end up having a long list of usernames and passwords that we have to keep up with.  So how in the world can we possibly keep up with all of these accounts?  This is how most people do it:

Evernote: An Incredibly Useful Application


I am the type of person that forgets things, lots of things, in fact, almost everything.  I have learned that if I don't write it down (or tell my wife), I likely will not ever do it.  I have adapted by carrying around notepads at work or daily planners, etc.  In fact, in school, I would often just write everything I needed to remember on my hand.  But life changed when I got my iPhone.
