Have you ever been sitting at the movie theatre and someone near you has a kid/friend/date that won't stop talking, or making noises, or kicking the back of your seat? That has always bothered me, because I feel that I am getting less value for the money I paid. Now it bothers me even more because I get to go to a movie about once a year. And I just sit there and wish that someone would have the decency to just take this person away so that I could continue enjoying my time.
Tonight, I was on the other end of that scenario.
The entire family was playing in our bedroom and Smalls was "spilling out" (pouring in sink) the water in the dog bowl. After we refilled the bowl and Smalls set it back on the ground, he started to put his foot in the bowl. I quickly told him no and he just cocked his head toward me, smirked, and went back to trying to put his foot in the bowl. I told him No again, but this time I made my voice a bit more stern so that he could not misunderstand my intention.
He got the pouty face, and said something that I wasn't quite sure I caught. I asked him to repeat himself and he said it again. Megan and I looked at each other question and I translated, "Take him away." Megan looked at Smalls and said, "Do you want me to take daddy away?" Xander shook his head and said, "Put him in living room." Well, I can sympathize with that feeling little man, sorry that I had to be annoying kid kicking your seat, but hey, someone has to do it.
